What is Mobitraxx and how it works?

Mobitraxx is a complete activity system control. Rounds, inspections, visits, clock in and out are some of activities perfectly controled by Mobitraxx. With it you be aware of your staff whereabouts, which is very important to improve the operational management and to be able to prove the quality of services provided or received.
The Mobitraxx system is divided into 4 parts:
1.Mobitraxx PRO is an Android app used to control mobile workers, such as watchmen, outside technicians, sales teams, among others. This application recognizes pre-registered or random locations, recording the date and time of reading, and immediately sends the information in real time. In addition it includes several functions, such as panic button, event log, round control, visit control and checklist.
2. ADMINISTRATOR area - is a web software for settings and the visualization of reports.
3. MONITORING - Monitore Mobitraxx is a computer-accessed web software by which it is possible to monitor multiple mobiles and rounds of different accounts. Monitore Mobitraxx warns the user about performed rounds, failed rounds, event logs, panic triggers and low battery charge.
4. ACCOUNT platform - allows access to reports of a particular account. This is suitable to allow your clients to check their reports by themselves.

What are the advantages of using Mobitraxx instead the old guard tour systems?

There are many advantages, but the biggest of them is that Mobitraxx is online and real-time. Online because the information will be in the cloud and can be accessed from any location. You can create a login and password for your clients or employees to access the information, if you wish.
Real time means that information becomes available immediately upon its occurrence, avoiding the painful process of downloading data from the old "wands".

Is Mobitraxx compatible with the old iButtons / RF Tags?

No. Mobitraxx does not read iButtons and RF tags, technologies used by tthe old data collectors. There are two checkpoint types that can be used with Mobitraxx:

- Geographic coordinates (GEO): If the location to be checked is in the external area, where the GPS signal is available, you do not need to have any cost to identify the locations. Mobitraxx allows the geographic coordinate itself to identify a location. For this, it is enough the user to confirm its presence touching on the identified point and arranged in a map, in the screen of Mobitraxx. If the user is not in the programmed location, Mobitraxx informs the distance that it is of the place. You can use any smartphone model to register GEO locations.
- QR Codes

- NFC tags - are electronic chips with radio frequency technology compatible with some smartphone models. This technology is only absolutely necessary when the presence check is made in internal places where there is no communication with the GPS. Also indicated when the reading accuracy level is absolute, since the GEO reading allows a variation of 65 feet. For reading the NFC tag, the user should approach the smartphone about 1 inch from the point for the reading to be made.

How to avoid user access to smartphone settings or other apps?

Mobitraxx PRO is available only for Android devices version 5.0 or higher. If your patrol routines include only geolocalizable or QR Code checkpoints, any model will sufice. If you need to use NFC tags, then note that the selected model must be NFC compatible.

What happens if there is no internet signal?

Mobitraxx keeps working. The information collected is stored. As soon as the signal is available, the information is sent out.

One of the great advantages of using a mobile is that repairing can be done at any local store. With the traditional "wands" there is no option, the repairs are made in the factory, usually there will be freight costs involved, and taking days or even weeks to ber returned. In the case of mobiles, most cases are solved on the same day, or almost immediately. If you need to temporarily or definitely replace a smartphone, simply edit the IMEI number of the smartphone in the ADMINISTRATOR area, replacing the old IMEI with the new one. All routing and report settings will remain unchanged
